Felony Hit and Run in Phoenix
A felony hit and run are sadly pretty common. The Phoenix police say that they actually saw an impaired driver that might have been involved in a hit and run crash on early Saturday morning.
According to Sgt. Mercedes Fortune, The crash happened at the intersection of 27th Street and Indian School Road close to two o’clock in the morning.
Fortune said a witness reported the man was crossing a intersection when he was suddenly hit by a small red vehicle. The injured man had to be taken to the local hospital and luckily his injuries weren’t life threatening.
Luckily the officers were able to find a similar vehicle that matched the witnesses’ description, it was found near 42nd Street and Thomas Road. The driver had to be taken into custody.
The driver was arrested because there might have been an “impairment” involved in the crash.
Crash in Phoenix
Phoenix stays pretty busy. Now there was a hit and run crash near 5th Avenue and Beardsley Road. This was in Phoenix and left a motorcyclist badly injured. The police are now looking for the driver of the vehicle.
The police say that the crash happened on July 24th, when a purple BMW hit the victim. The victim, Max was riding his motorcycle. There were no witnesses to come forward about the crash and the BMW hasn’t been identified at this time.
