Child Abuse Case in Phoenix
When you’re a kid you know you’re going to get in trouble for misbehaving. That still never stops us from having a little fun. However, sometimes parents take the punishment too far and the child gets injured.
Recently, a jury found a man guilty for locking up a ten year old little girl inside of a box. Why? For a punishment! The little girl sadly died after that.
The man, John Allen was found guilty for first degree murder as well as three counts of child abuse and conspiracy to commit child abuse.
Allen’s wife, Samantha was sentenced to death in this case.
According to the police reports, the Allen’s were responsible for making Ame Deal get into the box in 2011 for punishment. What did the child do? She stole an ice pop. The little girl was found abandoned and dead around six or seven hours later.
Apparently this wasn’t the first time the little girl had to suffer abuse from her parents and other relatives. The police say that the little girl had to eat dog feces, smash aluminum cans barefoot, eat hot sauce and then get into the storage box on several other occasions. She was kicked in the face as well as beaten with a wooden paddle. That’s not all though, she was also forcibly dunked after she was tossed into a cold swimming pool. How can any human being be so cruel to do that let alone your own family.
The adults at home said that Deal just hid herself during a late night game of hide and seek and they couldn’t find her until hours later.
Other relatives will also be serving time for abusing that little girl.
Criminal Defense Cases
The highly skilled Attorneys at Criminal Defense Lawyers PLLC advise and represent people facing criminal charges for domestic violence often described as Spousal Abuse, Spousal Battery or Domestic Dispute, such charges do not always reflect a case between married people, but include those living in the same location (cohabitation), or sometimes just engaged in a domestic (dating) relationship. Such cases can also lead to violation of a restraining order or protective orders. They are NOT the same as a Domestic Violence Restraining Order however.
With a team of former prosecutors, Phoenix based Criminal Defense Attorneys at Criminal Defense Lawyers PLLC offer a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system. They understand the necessary steps to take in developing an aggressive defense strategy focused on securing a dismissal or minimizing any potential penalties associated with a conviction.
