Man Charged With Several Charges in Kidnapping 8 Yrs Old Girl

Man Arrested for Disappearance of 8 Year Old Little Girl

 

A man is in some serious trouble after being previously questioned in the disappearance of an eight year old little girl. The man has now been booked into the Mohave County Jail for the following charges: first-degree murder, kidnapping, as well as shoplifting. That poor little girl.

 

Chief Brian Williamson from the Bullhead City Police, confirmed that twenty-six year old Justin James Rector was indeed taken into custody for the above charges including the death of the eight year old Isabella Grogan-Cannella. The innocent little girl was reported missing last Tuesday. According to the local authorities, on Wednesday Isabella’s lifeless body was found in a shallow grave near her home. Rector was taken into custody on Thursday.

 

Family Friend Murders 8 Year Old Little Girl

 

According to chief Williamson, Rector was a family friend that had been visiting and staying with the family at their home for a few days. Isabella was last seen with Rector at around 11:30 on Monday night. She was seen by her ten year old sister with the boy. Isabella was reported missing around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

 

Chief Williamson also said that Rector had went to the local Walmart to shoplift some shoes, underwear, and a shirt to change into. Rector admitted to actually hiding his old outfit along the highway. Rector was first arrested for the shoplifting and then held in the jail so that the investigators could look into Isabella’s disappearance. The detectives were able to find the shoes and shirt, as well as the surveillance video from the store which showed the evidence of Rector shoplifting. Rector had at first told the investigators that he had gone to a friends house after leaving Isabella’s home, however they were unable to confirm that. The investigators did find a set of show prints at the site where Isabella’s body was found. The shoe prints did match Rector’s old shoes.

 

The court documents read that Isabella was found in the same shirt she was wearing when she went missing, however she was found not wearing anything on her lower half. They are going to preform an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Rector didn’t deny killing the 8 year old Isabella, he did say he couldn’t talk about it and wanted an attorney.

 

According to the investigators, they aren’t sure of a motive for the girl’s murder. The investigation is ongoing at this time and police are unsure of future charges or arrests at this time. There were several other people at the house when Isabella disappeared.  Child Protective Services are also involved, but it is unsure what for at this time.

Woman Escapes After Her Boyfriend Duct Tapes and Chokes Her

 

Luckily a woman managed to escape this morning after her boyfriend allegedly duct taped and choked her. Why on earth would someone do that to a significant other? All because of an argument, according to the Phoenix Police Department. How crazy is this? I can’t believe all of the cruel things people are doing these days.

 

According to the police, the said woman got into a fight with her boyfriend that was living with her in their home which is near Cave Creek and Bell Roads. This argument started over her talking to another man. Jealously issues much? Anyways, the boyfriend then allegedly tied her up with duct tape and choked her. He also threatened to take her to the desert to kill her. That’s pretty extreme just because she talked to another man.

 

Woman Manages to Escape Boyfriend

 

Luckily, the poor woman got away from the duct tape and was able to run to a bar which is just across the street from their home. She still had the duct tape on her as she entered the bar, according to the Phoenix Police. The male suspect followed however he returned home, where there were reportedly several guns. The customers in the bar were able to check on the victim woman to see if she was ok.

 

According to the Phoenix Police, The woman was immediately taken to the local hospital where she had to be treated for her injuries. The suspect is still ” at large”.  Due to the possibility that the male suspect might have access to weapons in the home, there has been a tactical unit called in to serve the search warrant where they did recover the evidence.

Trial Beginning For Man Who Is Charged With Mailing Bomb

Homemade Bomb Maker Case Goes to Trial

 

Today a jury selection is starting to begin for the Oklahoma man who allegedly (and was charged with) mailing an inoperable homemade bomb to the Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio. Of course, Gregory Lynn Shrader has pleaded not guilty to the “federal charges” against him. Gregory is from Jay, Oklahoma. Doesn’t seem like a sweet Oklahoman could be so cruel as to send a bomb to someone, however it’s really hard to tell who is a criminal these days.
The police investigators found the bomb back in April of 2013. The bomb was at a mail collection box unit located in Flagstaff. The bomb was made of “smokeless powder, wires, a battery, and a pressure-release switch attached to its lid”.

 

Homemade Bomb is a Dud

Police investigators soon figured out that the homemade bomb was really inoperable. However, there was some black powder inside of the box and that could have exploded or ignited in a flash fire. Thankfully whoever made the bomb didn’t do it well, or perhaps they just wanted to scare Officer Arpaio. Either way, the suspect Gregory is now going to trial for his cruel actions. After their investigation the police were able to disable the dud of a bomb.

 

Some evidence police have already gathered is that a woman had witnessed and even drove Gregory Shrader to northern Arizona. She saw Gregory place the parcel into the mailbox and he was wearing surgical-type gloves at the time he placed the box inside of the mail.

 

People get away with a lot of things these days. There’s nothing that you can’t find on the internet or television. This is good for entertainment however it’s not good for the community or the crime rate. With a witness, it doesn’t seem like Mr. Shrader will be getting away with his homemade bomb threat.

55 Year Old Man Killed By Police For Shooting at Them

 

An older man of fifty-five years old has been killed by the phoenix police. The man was shot by the responding officers after he started shooting at the officers from his front porch. The shooter was armed with five guns.

According to a Phoenix Police Officer, James Holmes, the first shots were fired at around 10:15 on Monday night.

 

Holmes Statement about the Shooting

People living in the area called police saying they were hearing gunshots.

According to Officer Holmes, the officers had hear an additional shot when they approached the intersection of 15th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.  The Phoenix officers then went to the home where they believed that the shots were coming from. However, as they were talking to the homeowner the officers started to get shot at from another direction. The investigating officers quickly took cover and were able to figure out where the shooting was coming from. According to Officer Holmes, the officers saw a man standing on his front porch with a rifle.

Police told the local NEWS that at least dozens of shots were fired. The officers quickly called for back up as the man continued his rifle assault on them. As the man kept shooting the police had a police helicopter come to the scene. However, the helicopter had to land after the man had started to also shoot at the police helicopter.

Officer Holmes’ Statement about the Shooting

In 18 years I can’t remember a time when someone blatantly turned to an aircraft and started shooting at it.

After the police again took cover, the officers shot and killed the fifty-five year old shooter. They shot the man while he was standing on his own back porch. Police are investigating the mans criminal and mental health records to hopefully find out why the man had started shooting at the authorities in the first place.

We have to sort all of this out because it is very very hard for us to fathom that a person without cause it going to be armed to the teeth on his porch and just randomly start shooting at police officers when they show up.

Luckily there were no other people were harmed during the shootout. A couple of the shooter’s bullets did go into some nearby houses but everyone was ok.

Gun Control is a huge issue. The president as well as many other people are trying to get control over people’s gun rights. If anything this recent incident will give those non-gun parties a good argument.

 

The owner of an Arizona shooting range is guilty with some huge regrets of letting a 9 year old little girl fire an Uzi submachine gun. I’ve been around guns my whole life, but how this happened is beyond me. I feel so sorry for everyone involved. I’m not sure I would let a nine year old little girl shoot a machine gun though. Anyways, the little girl lost control of the gun and accidentally shot one of the other instructors at the shooting range. Where in the world is this young girl’s parents? Why would they allow this girl to shoot a gun like that?

 

Little Girl Loses Control of Submachine Gun

 

The shooting instructor, Charles Vacca was innocently standing beside the unidentified nine year old little girl on that Monday at the Last Stop Outdoor Shooting Range. The range is located in White Hills Arizona, which is just twenty-five miles from Las Vegas. As Vacca was standing next to the girl, she squeezes the trigger.

 

On Wednesday, the little girl’s parents signed waivers saying that they understood the rules of the range and was just a short distance from her, video taping her as she shot the gun when the accident happened, according to the shooting range operator, Sam Scarmardo.

 

According to Sam, his policy is “allowing children 8 and older to fire guns under adult supervision” and the watchful eye of an instructor. That is just standard practice in the shooting range industry.

“Cops” TV Show Crew Member Shot and Killed During Filming

 

Most of us have seen the television show, “Cops”. It’s known for it’s crime fighting and killer (no pun intended) theme song. The “Cops” TV show was filming when the police were called to respond to a robbery. The police got to the scene and then had to open fire while they disrupted a robbery at a fast food restaurant in Omaha. Sadly, one of the “Cops” TV show crew members was shot and killed as well as the robbery suspect. The suspect had been carrying a pellet gun that police believed was a real gun.

 

Police Believe Robbery Suspect Has Real Gun

 

According to Police Chief, Todd Schmaderer…witnesses and officers believed the robbery suspect’s “Airsoft handgun” was real and that it only fired plastic pellets. The robbery suspect fired at the officers before they returned fire. The suspect was hit by an actual bullet but somehow still fled the restaurant before he collapsed.

 

The Officers then continued to fire on the suspect as he fled the restaurant. As he was leaving and the firing continued, that is when the “Cops” crew member was also hit. Chief Schmaderer said that he believes that there were three officers that were involved in the incident and he thinks that they acted properly during the attempted robbery at the Wendy’s in Omaha.

 

According to Chief Schmaderer, the “Cops” crew member that died is thirty-eight year old Bryce Dion. Bryce worked for Langley Productions. The Robbery suspect that died is thirty-two year old Cortez Washington.

 

Chief Schmaderer also said that there was a video that got captured by another crewman of the “Cops” television show that showed the whole chaotic situation in the restaurant. The police will not release the video but it will be a part of the Grand Jury Investigation into the shooting. All three of the officers are on leave right now.

 

Langley Productions spokeswoman, Pam Golum’s statement:

We are deeply saddened and shocked by this tragedy and our main concern is helping his family in any way we can. Bryce Dion was a long term member of the `COPS’ team and very talented and dedicated person.
